In the oblivianoobscura kingdom of Goobledygook,
the royals are renowned not for their battles against other nations
but for their legendary global wars
against mosquitoes and cockroaches.
King SlipperSwat the Brave
armed with his broken slipper,
leads his valiant knights in nightly skirmishes
against the buzzing mosquito armadas
Hairy Queen Jitterybug
a nonsensical nagging genius,
orchestrates elaborate traps
from brooms of cokruchhuts
and from chalky lines
of divine indian avatar brother,
for the irritating cockroach brigades,
especially the flying flying ones,
and the stocky short ones.
Their court jester,
Sir HairInTheNose,
entertains the court ,
tales of their outlandish exploits,
turning their pest control
rodomontades
into some epic sagas
of bravery and valor.
However, this facade of heroism
crumbles comically when a group of
house rodents, from the region of greater irritatarios
mockingly recreate the scenarios
with toy slippers and bug figurines,
and a dancing,
Sir HairInTheNose,
with one very long hair
hanging out of his left nostril.
Their exposed bug squashing gallantry
turns into a nursery rhyme. That goes as:
“In Goobledygook, where tales grow tall,
Sir HairintheNose, with a slipper in hand
His nose hair swayed
as he danced with flair,
Fighting the bugs
in the moonlit air.
Kings and Queens set traps so sly
Sing the kids under the sky
But funniest of all, we suppose
Is the jig of Sir Hair with his wiggly nose hose!”
